huber+co. interactive and TEDx Columbus
I’ve been a fan of TED for a long time. I’ve never had the chance to go to the annual TED conference, but would jump at the chance if the opportunity was presented. A few months back, I was talking with one of huber+co.’s strategic partners, Ruth Milligan, and she told me that she was bringing TED to Columbus! Yep, we’re going to have a TEDx Columbus. Ruth brought together an incredible team to help her bring the event to life. I’m eagerly awaiting the announcement of the speaker line-up for the evening.
Ruth called me yesterday and wondered if huber+co. would be interested in underwriting tickets for students to attend. Absolutely! I didn’t want the $50 ticket price to be a barrier for the future leaders in Columbus, so, I’m pleased to announce that we are giving away 4 tickets to full-time students to attend TEDx Columbus on October 20, 2009.
